💻AI: China's Tech Giants Unveil Next-Generation AI Office Assistants
Xiaomi introduced MiMo Claw, a lightweight cloud-based agent powered by its MiMo-V2.5-Pro model. Deeply integrated with the Kingsoft Office ecosystem, it enables users to generate, preview, and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF documents in a unified workflow. Supporting the MCP tool-calling standard, MiMo Claw can execute over 1,000 consecutive tool calls per session, achieving a 63.8% task completion rate on the Claweval benchmark while reducing token consumption by 40-60%. Free users now get four hours of daily access, with subscriptions starting at RMB 14.9 monthly.​

Simultaneously, Tencent Cloud launched WorkBuddy, an AI-native agent requiring no setup or configuration. Available via workbuddy.ai, it autonomously ingests resources, breaks down tasks, and delivers production-ready files across coding, analysis, and productivity scenarios. Users can trigger tasks through Slack, Telegram, Discord, or WeChat, with outputs delivered through the same channels. Built on MCP, WorkBuddy integrates with GitHub, Jira, Google Drive, and Notion, while offering over 100 built-in expert roles and multi-model flexibility via API key connections.
Tencent also introduced Design Miora, an AI creative studio with persistent memory for brand consistency, and TokenHub, a unified MaaS platform providing API access to both Tencent's Hy models and third-party offerings. These launches reflect both companies' aggressive push to embed AI into everyday work processes, competing directly in the rapidly evolving enterprise productivity space.
